Cant Buy a Win

The Dodgers lost last night to the Arizona Diamondbacks to complete the sweep. It was their second consecutive time getting swept, and they are in a very deep 7 game losing streak. It seams as if they cant buy themselves a win, even with Ace Clayton Kershaw on the mound.

They lost the game 3-2 due to a pair of homers by Dodger-killer Paul Goldschmitt. Clayton Kershaw let up 5 hits in his outing which lasting just over 7 innings.

“I’m frustrated,” Kershaw said. “I think the rest of the team is, too. It’s no fun to come to the park and lose every single day — a lot of expectations with this team and the talent’s there, we’re just not winning games.”

He said it, and there is no way around it. Although with the Dodgers finding themselves last in the NL West, they have some high expectations. Partial Owner Magic Johnson says he wouldn’t be satisfied unless the Dodgers made it to the World Series. With a $230 payroll, an owner should expect nothing less.
